Dr. Tycee Prevatt serves as a tenured faculty member with the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS), where she leads the Glades County Extension Office as both the Extension Director and the 4-H Youth Development Agent. Dr. Prevatt earned her Bachelor of Science in Dairy Management from the University of Florida in 1994, followed by a Master’s degree in Agricultural Extension and Education from Colorado State University in 2014. Most recently, she completed her Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership from Florida State University. With a deep commitment to empowering youth, Dr. Prevatt oversees comprehensive programming for children ages 5–18, including traditional 4-H community clubs and school enrichment initiatives. Her work focuses on fostering leadership, life skills, and personal growth among young people throughout Glades County.
