Staying Well into the New Year
Just because the holiday season will be coming to an end that doesn’t mean you journey to Stay well should! Remember the tips you have learned and practiced well into the New Year and beyond. Staying Well is not a one time of year thing it should become a part of your lifestyle for a stronger, healthier, happier you!!
Staying Well Tips for Everyday:
Set Goals: Make your goals SMART so they are reachable and you will succeed.
Plan your Eating: Remember the tips you learned about portion sizes, adding color, eating regularly, scanning the food before making your plate, using a smaller plate, and using healthier substitutions. These are good tips for eating no matter the time of year.
Switch your Focus: Focus on what really matters the people, the experiences, or giving.
Stay Active: Remember to engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate activity or 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity each week.
Manage your Stress: Stress is a part of our everyday lives, but remember if you check your focus, stay active, take “ME” time, say no, and get good sleep you can help manage your stress and have better overall health.
