Treasure Quest

Ozzy the Otter

Collectible pins
Each Treasure Quest location has a unique, collectible pin!

Hi there! My name is Ozzy the Otter, and I have some exciting news for you. Treasure Quest locations have popped up all across Sarasota County! Come play with me and learn all about what nature has to offer at your favorite park or library. Studies show that spending time outdoors has many physical, mental, and emotional benefits. So, otter you waiting for? Get questing!

How It Works

Visit a Treasure Quest location, then pick up a booklet and pencil at the designated area. Each booklet has two adventures available to complete based on the incredible, unique sites found at the featured location. Complete at least one adventure in the booklet (6 pages) for a collectable pin, specific to the location. Collect them all by visiting every Treasure Quest location! Remember to return your pencil and ask an adult to help you with the survey at the end.

Treasure Totes

Treasure Tote full of fun prizes
Treasure Totes are available while supplies last!

While supplies last, we’re giving away a special Treasure Tote to youth who complete five or more different Treasure Quest booklets!

Each Treasure Tote contains:

  • An LED flashlight
  • A compass
  • A nature journal and pen
  • A 3D wooden animal puzzle
  • A stuffed river otter plush

Visit our office at Twin Lakes Park (6700 Clark Rd., Sarasota) to pick up a Treasure Map and start marking off your locations. After you finish, you can bring your completed map back to our office and complete a short survey to collect your well-earned Treasure Tote!
