Samantha Sliger
Samantha is the Summer 2023 Environmental Education and Sustainability Outreach Intern, in the University of Florida/IFAS Extension & Sustainability department. Samantha develops a variety of community outreach materials including blogs, videos, factsheets, flyers, and social media posts. Her outreach topics include educating the public on sustainability, energy, climate change effects, and wildlife. She is a graduate of West Virginia University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations with minors in marketing and professional editing. At the conclusion of her internship, she will be moving to London, England to pursue her master’s degree in sustainability management at the University of Westminster.
