Please Welcome Aquamarine Yoga to the Green Business Partnership

aquamarine yoga logoAquamarine Yoga was founded in Sarasota County in 2023 by experienced yoga teacher Sandi Higgins to actively connect yoga and self-care with sustainability and environmental care through education and practice. Rooted in ancient Indian philosophy and contemporary somatic learning, Aquamarine Yoga classes, workshops, events, and retreats empower individuals and organizations to embody their bliss and share the love of nature.

As a Green Business Partner, Aquamarine Yoga is making a positive impact on the community. Careful thought for the environment is considered when making business decisions. For yoga class locations, owner Sandi looks to partner with organizations that are environmentally safe and focused. She teaches about the importance of how our choices impact the environment. As an example, Aquamarine Yoga has studied adopting more eco-friendly yoga mat options such as using rugs, non-toxic products made from natural rubber and cork.

Yoga and environmental education are a natural fit, and Aquamarine Yoga is leveraging this as a way to teach clients about the importance of sustainability and regeneration in yoga retreats and trainings.
