UF/IFAS online adds new recycling course

“Recycle Right” is a new class focused on the issues we face with recycling in Florida. The online offering focuses on recycling, with waste reduction, recycling, composting, and other topics on tap throughout the course. “Recycle Right” takes a deeper look at recycling, food waste, challenges and obstacles, and related environmental issues in Florida and beyond. We aim to involve individuals passionate about protecting the environment and willing to work to make our community healthier, but welcome everyone interested in learning. The goal is to facilitate a discussion about the state of recycling.

COURSE LEARNING UNITS

  • The State of Recycling
  • Single Stream Recycling
  • Community Recycling Programs
