Our Volunteers Rock: Sharyl Wood

The month of April is Florida 4-H Volunteer appreciation month! We are using this time to thank five of our exceptional volunteers that enable us to inspire and educate the youth of Nassau County.

Nassau County 4-H is blessed to have so, so many volunteers that it truly is incredibly difficult choosing only 5 to highlight in April. However, our fifth volunteer is heavily involved and absolutely invaluable to all of the county programs.

Sharyl Wood is an integral part of the 4-H Youth Leadership Nassau program. Her dedication and enthusiasm for Youth Leadership Nassau is recognized by all of her fellow volunteers and especially by the youth. Her many years of educational leadership experience along with her passion for youth development have been instrumental in elevating Youth Leadership Nassau to its position as an award winning national youth development program.

Thank you Sharyl, for all of your contributions to Nassau County, Florida 4-H.
Thank you for your dedication, courage and your conviction, for bringing your sense of adventure to share and learn alongside the youth that you mentor.

Thank you for providing opportunities and education – and for knowing that the experiences you share, and the people you encounter, teach you more than you could have imagined.
