Head, Heart, Hands, and Health are the four H’s of 4-H.The third line in the pledge states, “My hands to larger service.” So how can you use your hands to serve?

Hands to Larger Service

Opportunity to serve is all around you every day. After Hurricane Irma many 4-H members found themselves helping others in their community. Glades County 4-H members worked at FEMA distribution stations, cleaned yards, and made thank you gifts for law enforcement officers.

As we continue to recover from Hurricane Irma opportunities to use your “hands to larger service” still exists all around you. I challenge you to look around and see where you can use your “Hands to Larger Service” for your community.
