EVENT: “Drawdown,” and the path to sustainability

Join us March 4 for a one-hour presentation about “Drawdown,” a solutions-focused approach to climate change and what you can do locally to make a difference.

Based on the book of the same name, authored by world-renowned environmentalist and entrepreneur Paul Hawken, this free class provides a framework to talk about the issue of climate change in a positive and proactive way. We’ll highlight small- and large-scale approaches that have been successfully implemented to stop the climb of greenhouse gas levels in the atmosphere. And you’ll walk away armed with specific strategies you can implement in your own life in this ongoing battle.

Bring your smartphones or tablets for a fun, interactive discussion. Register early through ufsarasotaext.eventbrite.com to save your spot and receive notice of any changes.
