Lisa Sutphin Strange holds an Education Specialist and Master's degree in Adult Education, Curriculum Instruction from the University of South Florida and Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Minor in Landscape Design from Florida Southern College. She planned early in life to teach horticulture. At the height of COVID-19, her dream job came true. As the Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent and Master Gardener Coordinator for Taylor County, she focuses on Florida-Friendly Landscape™ programs and commercial agriculture on Best Management Practices programs, protecting natural resources, and sustainable landscapes.
