Sarasota County has taken another step towards a greener future, with the launch of its Green Business Partnership “Partner Showcase” video series.

The goal is to highlight and promote local businesses dedicated to environmental practices, encouraging residents and visitors alike to support sustainability in their community. To support our green businesses, we’re highlighting our partners through short, story‑driven videos that bring their environmental work to life. Each episode features information about the business and the reasons for joining the Green Business Partnership and highlights green operational practices.

This month’s featured business is the Gulfcoast Community Foundation.

The Green Business Partnership is open to all businesses in Sarasota County. Certified Green Business Partners operate in an environmentally responsible manner. More than 200 businesses have earned certification.

Program certification includes an on-site verification of reduction, reuse and conservation practices in:

• Business operations
• Solid waste management
• Recycling
• Energy and water consumption
