Hurricane season is fast approaching, and now is the time to get ready. Whether you’re a long-time resident or someone new to the area, our free, one-hour “Hurricane Preparedness” class will help you brace for the June-November storm season. Register early to save your spot at a date and location that fits your schedule.
This class will offer tips and techniques to prepare for unexpected disasters where electricity, water and other services might be cut or curtailed, you might be forced from your home, and other situations that could arise due to a powerful storm. We’ll show you how to assemble an emergency supply kit, and provide you a step-by-step readiness checklist.
