EVENT: Composting, the worm way

Earthworms are extremely beneficial to the fertility of our soil, and can help create rich, beneficial compost for your garden, landscape or lawn.

In our free, hour-long “Worm Composting” class Dec. 7, we’ll show you how easy it is to care for worms and take the first step to vermi-composting (or, composting with worms). Worms can decompose many types of organic matter producing valuable soil amendments. You can raise red wigglers and produce nutrient-rich compost from fruit and vegetable scraps.

Register early at ufsarasotaext.eventbrite.com to reserve your seat and receive notice of any changes.
