Good things are growing in Orange County, Florida! Let’s keep our minds as sharp as our tools and learn together in 2026. The exciting line-up of classes is designed to build upon topics from the basics to specifics of commercial horticulture in Orange County!
UF/IFAS Extension Orange County Commercial Horticulture classes are hosted on the third Wednesday of the month between January and October annually. With the exception of the national award-winning Landscape University winter series taught by an expert team, all of these following classes are led by me, Extension Agent Hannah Eason (formerly Wooten), with occasional special guest experts! Other classes are likely to be added based on opportunity and need, so get on our newsletters and follow us on social media.
Guess what? My colleagues teach cool classes right here in Orange County, too! Check out classes about chickens, vegetable gardening, sustainable landscaping, gARTening, bats, bees, canning, cheesemaking, homebuying, money management, and 4-H.
While my monthly classes are largely focused on teaching the $1 billion ornamental landscaping industry in Central Florida, UF/IFAS has so many opportunities to dive deeper into your passion to learn about the land. Check out some of our incredible statewide programs regularly offered by our specialists. Here are some other UF/IFAS Typical Grower Events and Resources You Should Know.
