2015 AgSave$ Summit

Dear Jefferson County Farm Families:

Operating a successful family farm requires meeting many challenges. We focus on production, marketing and weather issues so intensely, we can forget to take care of the financial and family sides of the business.

If you are interested in learning more about the critical issues affecting your farm and family’s future, please join us at the 2015 AgSave$ Summit here at our office on Monday, February 23 from 10:00AM to 2:00 PM.

This is a kickoff event for a new AgSave$ initiative that aims to reach and introduce North West Florida Farm families to our upcoming series of four monthly financial training meetings to help you evaluate your farm’s financial status, prepare for retirement, manage debt and secure the future of your family operation.

Ag Saves$ is being delivered to you by the Panhandle Agricultural and Family and Consumer Sciences Faculty of University of Florida IFAS Extension and is sponsored by Farm Credit of Northwest Florida and Consumer Federation of America. For more information about this event or any part of the AgSave$ program, please feel free to contact me at 342-0187 or dillardjed@ufl.edu

Lunch will be provided with help from our sponsors. Please bring your family and be our guest at this special event. If you plan to attend, please let us know by Thursday, February 19.

We look forward to sharing this valuable information with you.
