Worker Protection Standard – Train the Trainer Day 2/8/18

EPA’s revised Worker Protection Standard (WPS) requires persons who conduct pesticide safety training for farmworkers (people involved in the production of agricultural plants) and pesticide handlers (people who mix, load, or apply crop pesticides) to meet certain qualifications. If you need to learn the skills necessary to train your farmworkers in the latest standards, consider attending the Worker Protection Standard – Train the Trainer class this Thursday, February 18th, at the Lake County Extension office. The class is $20 per person and runs from 8am to noon. Details and link to register below:
