Our vegetable gardening class is offered every year in the spring and will help you jump start your garden. Last year, our attendees took home and planted the green bean seeds and seminole pumpkin starter plants they received and reported on having a bountiful garden.
What to Expect
The vegetable gardening class will walk you through getting your garden started and what to plant when. This class will be indoors at the Hillsborough County Extension office and you will need to bring a small box to take home your starter plants and seeds. Handouts will include the Florida Vegetable Gardening Guide and Edibles to Plant in February Infographic as well as a what to plant when chart to guide you on your vegetable planting timing and decisions.
