Glades County 4-H September in Review

Youth spend a Saturday improving their Showmanship Skills
Four Glades County youth traveled to Tennessee to participate in SRTLC with youth from 12 other states

The 4-H Year got off to a busy start in September. Glades County 4-H members were not only busy working with their projects, but doing extra 4-H activities to continue to make their 4-H experience the best it can be.

Youth practice their showing skills at local prospect shows

Glades County 4-H members participated in events ranging from South Florida to Tennessee. Members enjoyed:

  • Educational Programs during their club meetings
  • Showmanship Clinics
  • Prospect Shows
  • The State 4-H Tailgate Contest
  • The Southern Regional Teen Leadership Conference.

Plus much more. I cannot wait to see what fun activities our youth choose during the month of October.
