The Florida H2OSAV Insights series provides information about residential water use in individual water utility territories, such as the GRU water service territory or Orange County. These exciting publications identify four water user groups, determine the groups’ average daily water use, and discuss irrigation impacts. The fact sheets also note how much water the highest-consuming homes in the specified areas use, and for what purpose. Readers can also find out more about best management practices for residential irrigation in Ask IFAS publication AE568, Florida H2OSAV Insights: Home Water Use in Osceola County.
