Char-O-Lot Ranch, located in Myakka City, Florida, is hiring a breeding barn intern for the 2018 season.
This is a paid internship with housing, and the internship runs from January to June 2018.
Interns will be required to:
- Handle mares and foals
- observe and assist with foaling
- Assist with medical treatments and procedures
- Assist with preparing and administering daily farm medications
- Assisting with reproductive procedures such as breeding, palpations, laviaging, stallion collection, semen preparation, and semen shipping
- Assisting farrier
- Halter breaking foals
