Gainesville Pet Rescue is seeking interns for the fall semester.
Interns will gain experience on how to handle, diagnose, and medicate animals in a shelter setting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines, oral/topical medicine, and fluids
- Assist with animal restraint for exams
- Responsible for sanitization of treatment areas
Hours: 10-15 hours weekly, unpaid
Qualifications
- College student on Pre-Vet track
- Must have good organizational skills, time management skills, and finish tasks independently
