TIP: When you add events to your Google calendar make sure the events are public or they will not show up on your homepage in T4.

Explanation: A service email account is recommended when creating UF/IFAS calendars using Google. An example of a service account is webteam@ifas.ufl.edu. When this service account is used, it alerts all webteam members and not one individual. So, you can also add multiple gatorlinks to one service account by contacting webteam@ifas.ufl.edu. Go to the following tutorial to learn how to set up your Google Calendar using a UF/IFAS service email account.

When you add events to your Google calendar make sure the events are public or they will not show up. You will need a calendar ID that looks something like this to add to the section entitled “RSS Feed from Google Calendar” in your T4 site channel: rugkukarb6ecrfl8mnvcgmgu94@group.calendar.google.com. To find your Calendar ID review this video. Then you will need to take your Calendar ID and replace the Calendar Group field in T4.
