Please join us in congratulating Ana Vargas, who just received the UF Superior Accomplishment Award in the Scientific/Technical Category at the University level!!!

Last month, Ana was one of four individuals to receive a Superior Accomplishment Award in the Scientific/Technical Category at the college (IFAS) level. Winners from all UF colleges then competed for the coveted award in that category at the University-wide level. That award was presented to our Ana today (April 10) at the University-wide Award Ceremony in Gainesville.

The Superior Accomplishment Awards are “designed to recognize faculty and staff who contribute outstanding and meritorious service, efficiency, and/or economy, or to the quality of life provided to students, employees, or stakeholders.”

Ana is our first staff member at TREC receiving the UF Superior Accomplishment Award at the University Level. This represents a great achievement for TREC and demonstrates that we are heading in the right direction.
