Zahir Ringgold Cordes
Zahir Ringgold Cordes is the Environmental Education and Outreach Program Assistant for University of Florida/IFAS Extension Sarasota County's Ecology and Natural Resources Program. Her work focuses on sharing the beauty and magic of our ecosystems and wildlife with youth, families, and individuals through hands-on and experiential educational programs, writing, and other creative projects. Through this work, she hopes to facilitate deeper connections between nature and people, and inspire communities and individuals to be better caretakers of our Earth.
