Ian Rabinowitz is the UF/IFAS Extension Sustainable Agriculture Agent of Sarasota County. He is also a Certified Crop Advisor (ASA) and licensed Pesticide Applicator (FDACS) who has been serving Florida's commercial fruit and vegetable industry for the past several years. Ian holds a Master's degree from The Ohio State University in Plant Health Management, as well as a B.S. in Strategic Communications from Northern Arizona University. In addition to traditional crops such as tomato, watermelon, and citrus, he also specializes in alternative crops and Controlled Environment Agriculture.
