EcoSummit & Green Living Expo: Recharging our Environment and Reducing Our Footprint

Sarasota County Sustainability is teaming with the Science and Environment Council of Southwest Florida to bring you an expanded version of our highly popular Sustainable Communities Workshop. The two-day “EcoSummit” and two-day “Green Living Expo” will include:

  • an array of expert sustainability information,
  • a trade show featuring sustainable products, services, and opportunities to get involved in local environmental issues, and
  • events featured in our previous workshops, with more partners and exhibitors and an expanded scope of discussion topics.

EcoSummit

Experts will share insights and innovations for recharging our environment and reducing our impacts— crucial to sustaining our coastal community’s quality of life. Community storytellers will explore our environmental heritage as a touchstone for a resilient future. The EcoSummit is a lively and entertaining two-day solutions-oriented experience with lectures, panel discussions, storytelling, and music. Green Living Expo

Explore environmental solutions to go green at the Green Living Expo on December 2-3 at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium. Demo and buy sustainable products and services from select vendors and non-profit organizations. Learn through hands-on experiences, how to get involved with volunteer opportunities, and help solve local environmental issues. It’s a two-day trade-show loaded with ideas and demonstrations about how to reduce our impacts on the environment and improve your quality of life. Learn more.

Enjoy outdoor activities at The Bay, Sarasota’s newest signature park and blue-and- green oasis along Sarasota Bay. Engage in, learn, and enjoy a wide range of free interactive experiences such as family-friendly activities, guided eco-tours, hands-on environmental programming from our partners, and more! Exhibitor Registration Opportunity for Businesses at the Green Home Show

We’re looking for businesses to be Exhibitors at the Green Living Expo. It’s a green business trade-show for your home and life December 2-3 from 10 am to 5 pm at the City of Sarasota’s Municipal Auditorium. Apply online now to save!

The deadline to submit applications is August 29. Exhibitors are highly encouraged to apply now because a timely response will allow us to preassign exhibit space. Requests for exhibit space will be accepted on a “first come, first served” basis.
