UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County thanks the first volunteer of the month for 2020 and selects Deborah Morgan for January.

Deborah is a graduate of the Sarasota County Master Gardener Volunteer program in 2018 and has been an excellent representative for the program and UF/IFAS Extension at local outreach events throughout Sarasota County.

She has helped with recruiting and selecting new Master Gardeners Volunteers and been a judge for Extension 4-H youth projects.

Deborah has taken on a major role in planning the Master Gardener program plant sale for the last two years. She has assisted with beautifying the Extension grounds in preparing for the sale, grown plants, and set up for the sale.

We thank Deborah for all her hard work and dedication to the Master Gardener program in Sarasota County.
