Congratulations to Orange TV for winning the 2019 Bronze Telly Award for it’s production of the Extension Solutions video program at the 40th Annual Telly Awards! Orange TV televises programming related to Orange County Government services and activities as well as important regional issues. The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens and are judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, production companies, including Vice, Vimeo, Hearst Digital Media, BuzzFeed and A&E Networks. Receiving over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world.

Extension Solutions is a video program that provides up-to-date, research based Extension information on agriculture, horticulture, family & consumer sciences and 4-H to the residents of Central Florida. The three to four minute segments cover a variety of topics presented by our own UF/IFAS Extension Orange County Agents. Co-hosts and Emeritus Extension agents Celeste White and Tom MacCubbin have been giving hands-on lessons since 1997.

The Extension Solutions video programs air monthly on the following: Channel 488 on Spectrum (formerly Bright House), Channel 9 on Comcast, 1081 CenturyLink Prism TV, WSWF Channel 10.2 -Digital Over the Air, ROKU in the Education category and are always available online here.
