Dr. Nicholas Dufault, Extension Plant Pathologist, UF/IFAS
Participants will learn how to identify common peanut, cotton, and soybean diseases. They will learn the environmental factors that contribute to each and how to control diseases in cotton, peanuts, and soybeans.
7:05pm-7:55pm “Controlling herbicide spray drift in light of new cotton seed technologies”
Dr. Barry Brecke, Extension Weed Specialist Emeritus, UF/IFAS WFREC
Participants will learn techniques to minimize spray drift. They will learn how to set up equipment to minimize drift and how different herbicide formulations help decrease drift. They will learn how to identify herbicide damage on susceptible crops such as peanuts.
