Our Volunteers Rock: Ken Norstrem

The month of April is Florida 4-H Volunteer appreciation month! We are using this time to thank four of our exceptional volunteers that enable us to inspire and educate the youth of Nassau County.

Nassau County 4-H is blessed to have so, so many volunteers that it truly is incredibly difficult choosing only 4 to highlight in April. However, our third volunteer is heavily involved and absolutely invaluable to all of the county programs.

Ken Norstrem is an integral part of the Nassau County 4-H County Council. All of his children are actively involved in our County Council and they are the backbone of the organization. Ken never misses a meeting and is always helping before and after every event. His enthusiasm for 4-H and our educational programs is an important component to our success as an organization.

Thank you Ken, for all of your contributions to Nassau County, Florida 4-H.

Thank you for your dedication, courage and your conviction, for bringing your sense of adventure to share and learn alongside the youth that you mentor.

Thank you for your compassion and your awareness, for seeing the need and responding. Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge to help improve lives and build the capacity of youth to learn and grow.
