Free Tax Help is Available! Don’t pay to have your 2017 tax return prepared and filed. If your household income was less than $66,000 in 2017, you may be eligible for free tax help at one of more than 60 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax-Aide sites throughout Northeast Florida. IRS-certified volunteers are ready to assist you to prepare and electronically file your 2017 tax return. This service is supported by United Way of Northeast Florida and AARP.
Appointments for the Atlantic Rec Center location can be made by calling the Nassau County Public Library System, Fernandina Beach Branch Library at 904-277-7365. Please call during normal library hours – 10am to 6pm Monday – Saturday.

Please bring photo identification, Social Security Cards, your 2014 tax return and all 2015 tax documents such as W-2s, 1099s, and SSA-1099s and 1095 A,B or C forms. If in doubt, bring the document. We cannot work from pay stubs or other year-end documents.
