The University of Florida provides an online monthly gardening calendar for each region of the state. It includes recommended actions plus links for additional information. For this month’s South Florida edition see:

With the approach of spring weather it is time to add heat tolerant annuals and warm season vegetable crops to your garden and watch for increased pest activity. It is also a good time to fertilize lawn and landscape plants and prune trees and shrubs.
