Hillsborough County Extension Partners with Tampa Family Health Centers to Provide Planter Pots

The Planter Pot Giveaway at the Tampa Family Health Center (TFHC) was a huge success! We provided a total of 90 low-income households with pots, soil and seeds to improve their food security and health. The planter pot kits were provided through a grant with the USDA-NRCS. UF/IFAS Extension Hillsborough County Master Gardener Volunteers provided education on planting dates, seed starting, and other gardening tips.
