Dalton Goolsby is the Supervisor of the Urban Horticulture Program at the UF/IFAS Extension Miami-Dade County Office. He is a Florida-Friendly Landscaping Certified Professional and Educator, specializing in topics such as Water Conservation, Waste Reduction, Sustainable Landscaping, and South-Florida Pollinator Conservation. Hailing originally from Central Florida, he currently resides in beautiful and historic Coral Gables. Before his career with the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS), Dalton received a bachelor's degree in Botanical Research from the University of Florida in December of 2018. Eager to get a head start into his desired field - he paid his way through school by working various Green Industry jobs such as the Head Gardener at the UF Harn Museum of Art, and Lab Technician at the UF Plant Diagnostic Clinic.
