Alicia Betancourt
As the Community and Family Development Extension Agent and County Extension Director for UF/IFAS Extension Monroe County, Alicia's outreach work focuses on sustainability, climate change risk reduction, participatory governance and consumer safety and finance. She helps communities develop climate action plans and build capacity for community engagement in the planning process. She serves on the Association of Climate Change Officers board of directors and the UF/IFAS and FAMU Community Voices Informed Choices leadership team.
