What is Tree Quest?

Tree Quest is an interactive, family-friendly event designed to bring people closer to nature while promoting urban forestry awareness. Participants will embark on a quest to discover unique trees, learn fascinating facts about Florida’s trees, and participate in a chance to win tree themed prizes—all while enjoying the beauty of our local parks.

Tree Quest takes place for the last two weeks in January, kicking off on Florida Arbor Day, Friday January 16th. Visit any of the participating parks listed below, find the tagged tree and scan the QR code on the sign to participate. You will be asked a few brief questions and for each unique response recorded at a different location, you will be entered to win a tree themed prize. Prizes in past events have included gift cards to local plant nurseries, Florida Tree ID books, free class passes and other exciting items!
