In our October blog post, we discussed completing pages 1, 6, 7, 8, 12, and 24 in our 4-H Journals. As we continue in our 4-H Journal Series, for November, you should be working on the following tasks/pages:
- Monthly Feed Journal November
- Just like last month, make sure you enter your feed information.
- November/December Check-in
- These check-ins are an important way to document your journey and reflect on where you are in your project and goals.
- Community Service and Educational Opportunity Log
- Many of you have already participated in a community service project or an educational program beyond your 4-H club. Please document your activities on this page.
- Animal Health Record
- Make sure to document health-related issues and routine treatments such as worming, vaccinations, and hoof trimmings.
- Animal Weight Record
- This page is an important tool you can use to document your animal’s weight to know if your animal is on target to make weight or if your animal is struggling to gain weight.
While these are the main pages to focus on for November, remember to review your journal regularly so that you can stay up to date and have less to fill in after the show.
If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Tycee or your 4-H Leader. All contact information can be found in your project journal.
