Welcome to The Log, a new publication that highlights extension, education and research happening at the University of Florida’s Austin Cary Forest.

Our first edition features images from the 2024 statewide 4-H Forest Ecology contest, results from a decades-long carbon study conducted 100 feet above the forest floor and how the Cooperative Forest Genetics Research Program works to enhance the quality of loblolly and slash pine breeding.
