Johnsongrass – Weed of the Week
Johnsongrass is a perennial grass with a creeping rhizome and grows in patches. It has an open panicle seedhead, and a prominent midrib in the leaf. Johnsongrass is usually found on the edges of fields, throughout pastures, and in higher/drier areas.
