Brazilian Pepper- Weed of the Week

Brazilian Pepper is a category invasive tree, meaning it can spread into undisturbed sites. It was introduced in the 1800’s from South America, and has quickly spread throughout central and south Florida. The thick canopy quickly becomes impenetrable and chokes out desirable plants.
