Get help with your landscape problems..Virtually

With everything that has been going on, one benefit seems to have been more people getting outside and into their lawn and gardens. It can seem like an uphill battle at times. Particularly if this is your first time, or if you start to see some disease or pests start developing. Where can you go for troubleshooting advice? Normally, our extension office would be available for in-person walk-in consultations, but it’s just not an option these days. After pondering this for a while, we realized a virtual option was needed. Starting in Mid-April 2020 the UF/IFAS Duval County Extension office will be offering virtual horticulture consultations on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment to all Duval County residents. In these virtual consultations, together with a horticulture expert, you’ll be able to walk through the horticultural questions and issues your facing in real time, right there in your own backyard. If you are interested in taking advantage of this new service we are offering, simply follow the below link, select an appointment time and fill out your information. We’ll email a private ZOOM-link out to you prior to the scheduled appointment; a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet connection will be required to connect. Don’t forget to give us some details on your concerns/questions so we have additional documents and guidance ready for you. Appointments can be scheduled through: We look forward to seeing you all soon.
