2021 Wakulla Farm Bureau Speech Contest – Apply to Participate in the County Contest by August 23, 2021

About the Contest

Each year, the Florida Farm Bureau Federation’s Women’s Leadership Program sponsors a statewide Youth Speech Contest. The contest has three levels of competition: County, District and State. The winner of the County contest competes in their District contest and the District winner then competes in the State competition against the other seven District winners. The State contest will be held virtually, prior to the Florida Farm Bureau Annual Meeting.
The purpose of this contest is to promote a stronger interest and clearer understanding of the many aspects of agriculture; to provide opportunities for our youth to gain knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of agriculture; and help to promote agriculture’s many values and virtues.

The Wakulla Farm Bureau will hold the county level competition on August 30, 2021 at the UF/IFAS Wakulla Extension Office at 84 Cedar Avenue, Crawfordville, Florida. To compete, eligible youth must submit the application by August 23, 2021.
