EVENT: EcoWalk — Unique Preserves of Sarasota County

Join us Jan. 22 at Sleeping Turtles Preserve North for a free, two-hour walking tour that highlights another of our amazing and unique Florida ecosystems.

Part of our EcoWalk series, this event takes you on a leisurely stroll through beautiful, environmentally sensitive lands that have been preserved in Sarasota County. Learn more about what makes this area and ecosystem so unique and important, the plants and animals found here, how to be watershed-wise, and the management issues faced when trying to preserve lands for future generations. Register early through ufsarasotaext.eventbrite.com to reserve your spot and receive notice of any changes.

NOTE: If registration is full, check via the Sarasota County Parks and Recreation events web site at https://web1.vermontsystems.com/wbwsc/flsarasotawt.wsc/search.html (scroll to find “Nature Walks”).
