Herbs and Vegetable Plants
This spring we will have several different herbs and vegetables for sale. Plants have been propagated from seeds or cuttings from Master Gardeners’ right here in our area. Plants are suited to our local gardening environment.
Herbs for Sale
Most grow in full sun. Here is a list of herbs we will have available:
Catnip – Your furry feline will love you for this one!
Cilantro – A cool weather herb; great for salsa!
Italian Basil – Think Italian food!
Oregano – Fragrant herb and groundcover.
Peppermint – Look forward to including a sprig in iced tea this summer!
Roselle – A relative of the hibiscus and okra! Often called the Florida cranberry

Rosemary – A great evergreen herb as a foundation plant in the herb garden
Thai Basil – Stronger flavor than sweet basil, the leaves are smaller with purple veins

Vegetable Plants
We will have peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, and strawberries for sale this year. All need full sun to thrive.

Peppers from mild to hot include green, red, and yellow bell peppers, Uba Tuba peppers, sweet banana, jalapeno, poblano, and datil peppers.

Tomato selections are: Sandwich style include “Ace 55” and “Mortgage Lifter”; plum tomato – “Roma”, and cherry tomatoes – “Matts Wild Cherry” and “Sweetie”. We anticipate having other selections coming in closer to the sale date. (Ace 55 image: Bonnie Plants)
