Lisa Sanderson earned a Masters in Agricultural Education and a BS in Horticultural Science both from NC State University. Lisa uses her 23 years of horticulture and teaching background to educate Sumter County residents and Master Gardener Volunteers in her role as the Residential Horticulture Extension Agent and Master Gardener Volunteer Coordinator for the UF/IFAS Extension in Sumter County. Lisa’s area of focus is educating residents on ways to conserve and protect water resources in Sumter County using sound environmental practices. Lisa leads dedicated Master Gardener Volunteers in Sumter County who educate the residents of Sumter County through a variety of educational programs and outreach.
