Environmental Science student Braeden Allen

Get to know Braeden Allen, a senior majoring in environmental science student in the School of Natural Resources and Environment.

“After graduation, I want to become an environmental lawyer. I majored in environmental science because I’ve always had an interest in the sciences, and I think environmental is extremely important right now and will only get more crucial in the future,” Braeden explained.

He grew up on Cape Cod, Mass., and has been fencing since 8th Grade. This year, Braeden is the captain of the men’s foil team on the UF Fencing Club.

“For me, the best parts of this sport happen off the strip: the camaraderie, laughter, respect, diversity, and support among teammates and opponents alike are what make fencing really special. This club has given me all of that and more,” he said.
