Kevin Fonzo, chef and owner of K Restaurant in Orlando, Fla., will be one of the chefs cooking at this year’s conference. At the age of 15, Kevin began his culinary training in a country inn in upstate New York. He then attended The Culinary Institute of America in New York.
Eventually, Kevin opened “K Restaurant and Wine Bar” in Orlando, which became one of Orlando’s first “chef owned and operated” restaurants. Kevin is also very involved with the Orlando Junior Academy’s Edible Schoolyard Project. Through this, Kevin is able to teach children how to make better nutritional choices.
