Join Polk County 4-H for a family day camp to celebrate Lakes Appreciation Month!
Every July is Lakes Appreciation Month, let’s celebrate by learning about our local lakes!
Polk County is home to over 500 named lakes. This July learn how to fish, kayak, and protect our lakes at a day camp offered by Polk 4-H and the City of Winter Haven.
About this event
This educational and fun Lakes Appreciation Day Camp is intended for youth ages 13-18 years old, but all youth 8-18 are welcome.
Topics discussed at the event may be too advanced for youth under 13, but with assistance from a sibling, their parent, or a guardian they may still enjoy the activities.
