Ten UF/IFAS Plant Pathology graduate students were honored at this week’s Plant Health 2025, the annual meeting of the American Phytopathological Society.
Two students were honored with prestigious Storkan-Hanes-McCaslin Awards. Roshni Panwala and Alexander Fast received the awards from the Storkan-Hanes-McCaslin Foundation, which offers financial assistance to students who are working to understand soil-borne diseases.

The Foundation was created to further the work of the three founders who were always willing to provide time, money, fumigants, and equipment to further research in soil diseases.
