Hello! I am Jenna Curtis, the new Agriculture Safety Extension Agent for UF/IFAS Palm Beach County. I am a Florida native from Osceola County and graduated from the University of Florida with a major in Entomology. During my undergrad, I did research in urban entomology, veterinary entomology, and spider biology.
I am also a proud 4-H alum. During my time in 4-H, I actively participated in numerous conservation projects and loved doing my fair projects every year. These experiences helped shape my passion for agriculture and community involvement (it is also where I found my love for entomology).
My focus is pesticide license CEU classes, pesticide exams, and agriculture safety topics. I will offer CEU classes in West Palm Beach and Belle Glade, click here to register and find available classes. Please reach out if there are any topics you are interested in learning more about or specific CEU credits you may need.
When I’m not working, I love to mountain bike, hike, and kayak.
Feel free to contact me at jennacurtis@ufl.edu to stay updated on the classes I’ll offer and for the latest in agriculture safety!
